Bostik, a leading global adhesive specialist for industrial, construction and consumer markets, will showcase the complete AROSET™ solvent-based acrylic pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA) series at the upcoming Shanghai International Tape & Film Expo (APFE) 2023 this month. The AROSET™ series is mainly designed for markets where graphics and specialty films such as the paint protection film (PPF) is an important element for the preservation of automobiles, aeroplanes, high-speed rail, wind turbine blades, and more.

Among the AROSET™ products is the industry-leading AROSET™ 951059. It possesses high bond strength to ensure that PPFs are well applied for maximal protection. The low initial tack allows clean removability, which prevents scratches and residues on the paint surface. More benefits of the solution include high stretch capacity, resistance against water, impact, UV, and other chemicals, and a high peel build.

Separately, another key product of the AROSET™ series is the AROSET™ 951070, which contains high adhesive solid content and high initial tack that ensure strong and durable PPF adhesion to the application. This solution allows customers to enjoy a much higher adhesion (at both room temperature and higher) that is yet to be widely available in the market, and without the requirement of additional capital investment as the adhesive can be applied with existing equipment.

These leading-edge adhesives are suitable for the industry’s next generation of PPFs – high-grade Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU) films, which are more flexible and longer lasting than conventional Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) films. TPU films feature exceptional flexibility, which makes them easy to install without tools.
